About

Me? Naturally, the one topic I have difficulty writing about is myself. I guess you can say I’m a multi-disciplinary creative person. An “individual”.  I’ve been involved in the arts since childhood and have delved into theatre, music, writing, photography, art/design, makeup and the list goes on.

I started writing as a child; first it was poetry and then I moved into “colorful” stories.  During my schooling, I was also heavily involved in playing music. So it was a natural progression for me to get involved in music journalism along the way.

Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to write for a variety of publications, contributing articles, reviews and interviews with some amazing musicians.  I have also had the opportunity to work as a publicist; creating press materials and handling press requests/coverage.   I’ve composed bios and profiles for a number of artistic individuals and companies, written corporate materials and even song lyrics. I’ve also done a couple of stints as an Editor;  once for a music magazine and the other for an arts magazine. What can I say?   I love variety!

So I suppose I have always been compelled to “create” whether it’s weaving words, concocting some sort artistic creation or painting a face.
